I love this hat.

I love this hat. I found it at Mark’s Work Wearhouse, nestled between plaid work shirts and hiking boots. Honestly, what is there not to like about this hat?
FOREVER 21 IS OPENING IN VICTORIA DEC. 22!!! I think caps lock was quite necessary there, because I will no longer have to take the ferry to Vancouver or venture into the world of online shopping.

Have a beautiful day,
Kate

mohair mohair

So I spent yesterday watching the entire first season of the Newsroom. How productive. But honestly it’s a really good show and if you have 10 hours where you have nothing to do I strongly suggest you check it out.
Anyhow, this coat is probably one of my favourite thrift store finds ever. I was browsing at the local Value Village and I happened upon this mohair coat. Mohair is goats hair, in case you were wondering. It was only $10! Ten dollars for a coat at Value Village today is a steal, seeing as their prices have steadily been climbing ever since I started thrifting a few years ago.

Have a beautiful day,
Kate

Rocker Elephants

This semester of school is done for me! Yesterday I spent the whole day tracing a Lego USB stick in Illustrator, probably one of the more mundane projects I’ve had to do, but at least now I can kinda-sorta-maybe use the Pen tool. Anywho, these are some pictures of me on my school campus.
LOOK: MY BELT HAS ELEPHANTS ON IT!! And it’s gold, ’nuff said. I found it by chance at the Victoria Vintage fair back in September.

Have a beautiful day,

Kate

Like my bear?

The madness of Black Friday shopping has slowly spread to Canada. On the front page of my newspaper there was a full page ad for Rogers. The front page! I find that quite tacky. Anyhow, it’s raining in Victoria so I’m just having a nice lazy day testing out my new wireless remote for my camera. These pictures are the result.
Happy weekend everyone :)
